Rye Drop-Cakes

Ingredients

  • 1 pint of warm milk
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of soda dissolved in the milk
  • a little salt
  • 4 eggs well beaten
  • rye flour enough to make a thin batter

Instructions

Bake in small cups, buttered, and in a hot oven, or in small cakes upon a hot griddle.
