Rice Waffles No. 1
- 1 quart of flour
- 1/2 teaspoonful of salt
- 1 teaspoonful of sugar
- 2 teaspoonfuls of baking powder
- 1 large tablespoonful of butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 pints of milk
- 1 cupful of hot boiled rice
Sift the flour, salt, sugar and baking powder well together; rub the butter into the flour; beat the eggs well, separately, and add the stiff whites last of all.
