Ready Pudding

  • 1 quart of milk
  • about 1 pound of flour
  • 6 eggs, the yolks and whites separately beaten
  • 1 teaspoonful of salt
  • 4 tablespoonfuls of sugar

Make a batter of milk and flour; add eggs, salt and sugar. It should be as stiff as can possibly be stirred with a spoon. Dip a spoonful at a time into quick boiling water, boil from five to ten minutes, take out. Serve hot with sauce or syrup.
