Onion Sauce


  • 1 heaping tablespoonful of flour
  • 1/2 cupful of butter
  • 2 cups of boiling milk
  • 4 tender boiled onions
  • salt
  • pepper


Work together until light flour and butter, and gradually add boiling milk; stir constantly until it come to a boil; then stir into that boiled onions that have been chopped fine. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve with boiled veal, poultry of mutton.
