Griddle-Cakes

Ingredients

  • 1 quart of Graham flour
  • 1/2 pint of Indian meal
  • 1 gill of yeast
  • 1 teaspoonful of salt

Instructions

Mix the flour and meal, pour on enough warm water to make batter rather thicker than that for buckwheat cakes, add the yeast, and when light bake on griddle not too hot.
