Delicious Junket

Ingredients

  • 2 quarts of new milk
  • 2 tablespoonfuls of prepared rennet
  • 2 tablespoonfuls of powdered loaf sugar
  • 1 small wine-glassful of pale brandy

Instructions

Take new milk, warm it on the stove to about blood heat, pour it into a glass or china bowl and stir into it the prepared rennet, powdered loaf sugar, and pale brandy. Let it stand till cold and eat with sugar and rich cream. Half the quantity can be made.
