Corn Meal Bread

Ingredients

  • piece of butter the size of an egg
  • 1 pint of corn meal
  • 2 eggs
  • new milk
  • 1 spoonful of yeast

Instructions

Rub the butter into the corn meal; make it a batter with the eggs, and some new milk; add the yeast, set it by the fire an hour to rise, butter little pans, and bake it.
