Hickory Nut Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup sweet milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • flour to stiffen
  • 1 large cup chopped hickory nuts

Instructions

Sprinkle a little salt and flour with the nuts. This makes two layers.
