Dumplings That Never Fall


  • 2 cupfuls of flour
  • 2 heaping teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 cupful of sweet milk


Stir and drop in small spoonfuls into plenty of water, in which meat is boiling. Boil with cover off for fifteen minutes, then put cover on and boil ten minutes longer. These are very fine with either beef or chicken.
