Delicious Mexican Dish

Ingredients

  • pair of sweetbreads
  • 36 large oysters
  • 3 tablespoons of gravy from the roast beef
  • 1/4 pound of butter chopped and rolled in flour
  • 3/4 cup of cream

Instructions

Soak and scald the sweetbreads, cut into small bits; take liquor from the oysters; add to sweetbreads with the gravy, and the butter; cook until sweetbreads are tender; add oysters; cook 5 minutes; add the cream; serve with or without toast.
