Marmalade Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound of flour
  • 1/2 pound of bread-crumbs
  • 1/2 pound of finely-chopped suet
  • 1/2 pound of moist sugar
  • 1/2 pound of marmalade
  • 2 eggs
  • grated rind of a lemon

Instructions

Put the flour, bread-crumbs, suet, sugar, and lemon rind into a basin.

Mix with the marmalade and two eggs, well beaten, and, if necessary, a little milk.

Put it into a well-greased pudding-basin, and tie over it a scalded and floured cloth.

Boil it for five hours.
