English Mutton Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • cold boiled mutton
  • 2 tablespoonfuls of capers
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of salt
  • 6 tablespoonfuls of cream or olive oil
  • 1 saltspoonful of pepper

Instructions

Chop sufficient cold boiled mutton to make a pint. Add to it the capers, salt, cream or olive oil, and pepper. Mash carefully and put between layers of buttered bread; trim the crusts and cut into triangles.
