Scotch Woodcock

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 3 teaspoonfuls of anchovy paste
  • 3/4 cup of milk

Instructions

Beat thoroughly the eggs and anchovy paste. Put this into the chafing-dish over hot water with milk and stir until thick. Spread sippets of toast with butter and then with anchovy paste, and turn the woodcock upon them.
