Dressing for Cole-Slaw


  • yolks of 3 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of made mustard
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoonful of salt
  • 1/3 cup of vinegar
  • 2 tablespoonfuls of butter


Beat the yolks with made mustard, pepper and salt; add vinegar and butter, and cook over hot water until slightly thickened. Set aside to become cold before using.
