Curried Vegetables
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 1/4 cup of flour
- 1 tablespoonful of curry powder
- 1/2 teaspoonful of salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 pint of milk
- 1/2 teaspoonful of onion juice
- 1 cup of cooked peas
- 1/2 cup of potato balls
- 1/2 cup of turnips cut into cubes or fanciful shapes
- 1/2 cup of carrots cut into straws
Instructions
Make a sauce of butter and flour, curry powder, salt, pepper and milk; add onion juice, cooked peas, potato balls, turnips, and carrots.
