Curried Vegetables

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 1/4 cup of flour
  • 1 tablespoonful of curry powder
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 pint of milk
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of onion juice
  • 1 cup of cooked peas
  • 1/2 cup of potato balls
  • 1/2 cup of turnips cut into cubes or fanciful shapes
  • 1/2 cup of carrots cut into straws

Instructions

Make a sauce of butter and flour, curry powder, salt, pepper and milk; add onion juice, cooked peas, potato balls, turnips, and carrots.
