Canned Peas with Egg

Ingredients

  • 1 can of peas
  • 2 tablespoonfuls of butter
  • 1 teaspoonful of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of salt
  • dash of pepper
  • yolk of 1 egg
  • 4 tablespoonfuls of cream

Instructions

Rinse peas, drain, and rinse again in boiling water. Add butter, sugar, salt and pepper. Beat the yolk of an egg, dilute with cream, and stir into the peas. Serve as soon as the egg thickens slightly.
