Ribbon Cake

Ingredients

  • small 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup of water
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder

Instructions

Take out two layers in tins; leave enough for a third layer, and put in it 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1 teaspoon of cloves. Bake; put dark layer in middle, and icing between all.
