Jelly Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 5 tablespoons sweet milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 2 teaspoons cream tartar

Instructions

Flavor with lemon. Bake in layers, and spread with jelly.
