Corn Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 heaping cups corn meal
  • 1 heaping cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • whites and yolks of three eggs beaten separately
  • 2 1/2 cups sweet milk
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Bake steadily in a moderately hot oven.
