Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

• 1 scant cup butter
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 cups flour
• 1/2 cup sweet milk
• 3 eggs
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
• small 1/4 cake of chocolate, grated and dissolved in 1/2 cup boiling water

Instructions

Allow chocolate to cool before adding it to the cake. Leave out the white of one egg for icing between the layers of cake.
