Apple Jelly

Ingredients

  • 10 quarts of sour apples
  • 1 pint of sugar to each pint of juice
  • 3 three sliced lemons

Instructions

Stew apples very soft in sufficient water to cover the fruit; drain over night through a flannel bag, without pressing.

Add sugar and lemons; boil twenty minutes; strain into glasses or bowls.
