How to Make a Sago Pudding


  • 2 table-spoonfuls of pearl sago
  • 1 tea-spoonful of hot milk
  • grated nutmeg or lemon-peel
  • sugar
  • 1 egg


Soak the pearl sago with the hot milk, in a covered basin, for a quarter of an hour; then add a very little grated nutmeg or lemon-peel, sugar to sweeten, and the egg; beat up all together until thoroughly mixed, and then boil the pudding in a buttered basin or tea-cup.
