Whole Wheat Hot Cakes


  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 4 teaspoons Royal Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon molasses
  • 1 tablespoon melted shortening
  • 2 eggs


Sift together flour, baking powder and salt; add milk, molasses, and shortening to beaten eggs and add to dry ingredients; mix well. Bake on hot, slightly greased griddle turning only once.
