Pickled Beets

Ingredients

  • 6 medium sized beets
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Instructions

Wash and boil the beets until tender. Remove skins; slice or cut into quarters; cover with the vinegar, salt, pepper and sugar.
