Rolled Jelly


  • 2 eggs, yolks and whites beaten separately
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 3 tablespoonfuls of milk
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 heaping teaspoon of baking powder
  • extract as fancied
  • preserves


Take the yolks and beat to a cream with sugar, milk, then add flour, baking powder and the well beaten whites last, also extract as fancied. When baked place on a wet cloth and trim outside edges, cover with preserves, roll in the cloth and let it stand for ten minutes, eat with whipped cream.
