Celery Soup

Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 3 large onions
  • 6 or 8 stalks of celery
  • 1 quart of milk
  • butter, pepper and salt to taste

Instructions

Chop all the vegetables very fine, and place in an earthern kettle and cover with boiling water, stir often till cooked, then add milk and let boil; add butter, pepper and salt to taste. This receipt will serve six persons.
