Sunshine Sauce for Vegetables

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups of milk
  • 7 tablespoons of flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of white pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of grated onion
  • 2 well-beaten eggs

Instructions

Make a cream sauce, using milk and flour. Place in a saucepan and stir until dissolved, using a fork or wire whip. Bring to a boil. Cook slowly for five minutes and then add salt, white pepper, onion, and eggs. Mix thoroughly and then serve with baked peppers.
