String Beans, Italian Style


  • 1 cupful of dried string beans, or 1 quart of green snap beans.
  • 2 onions minced fine
  • 1 green or red pepper minced fine
  • 1 teaspoonful of salt
  • 1 teaspoonful of paprika
  • 3 tablespoonfuls of grated cheese


Soak dried beans and then cook until tender or use green snap beans. Then add onions and green or red pepper. When tender drain well and season with salt, paprika, and grated cheese.
