Stewed Snapper

Ingredients

  • 1 can of snapper
  • 2 cups of water
  • 4 tablespoons of cornstarch, dissolved in water
  • 1 fagot of soup herbs
  • 2 cloves
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • grated rind of 1/4 lemon

Instructions

Open a can of snapper into a china bowl and let stand for one hour.

Place the rest of the ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook slowly for fifteen minutes. Add the snapper meat, heat slowly 10 minutes, serve.
