Sauce to Serve with Boiled Fish

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of fish stock (Court Bouillon)
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 3 level tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of grated onion
  • 1 well-beaten egg

Instructions

Dissolve the starch in the milk and then add the fish stock. Bring to a boil and cook slowly for eight minutes. Add butter, salt, paprika, onion, and egg. Beat thoroughly to mix and then bring to heating point. Serve.
