Rice Batter Cakes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of cold boiled rice
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 3/4 cup of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of shortening
  • 1 tablespoon of syrup

Instructions

Place in a bowl and beat to mix. Bake on a hot griddle and serve with butter and sugar.
