- 1 quart of milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoonful nutmeg
- 5 cupfuls sifted flour
- 4 tablespoonfuls syrup
- 5 level teaspoonfuls baking powder
Place milk in a bowl and then add rest of ingredients. Beat to mix and then bake.
To insure sufficient cakes use two pans for cooking or bake on a griddle.
