Ginger Jelly

Ingredients

  • 1/2 package of gelatine
  • 1 cupful of cold water
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 orange
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of boiling water
  • 1/2 cup of finely chopped candied ginger

Instructions

Soak gelatine in cold water for thirty minutes and then add lemon juice, orange, sugar, and boiling water. Beat thoroughly to mix and then let cool. Just before it begins to thicken stir in candied ginger.
