Fagot of Soup Herbs


  • 1 leek
  • 4 branches of thyme
  • 2 branches of parsley
  • 1 piece of carrot, cut in a strip three inches long
  • 2 branches of celery
  • 1 small pepper pod


Divide leek into three parts and cut from the stem up. To this piece of leek add the rest of the ingredients. Tie with a string and dry in a warm place. When dry put in a glass jar to be used as needed.
