Custard Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 5 tablespoons of sugar
  • yolk of 1 egg

Instructions

Dissolve cornstarch in milk and bring to a boil, cook for three minutes. Add nutmeg, sugar and egg yolk. Beat to blend and then cool.
