Cranberry Conserve


  • 1 quart of cranberries
  • 1 cup of water
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 1 cup of seeded raisins


Look over carefully and remove all the bruised and spoiled berries from the cranberries. Place in a saucepan and add water. Cook slowly until soft and then rub through a sieve.

Return to the saucepan and add sugar and raisins. Bring to a boil and cook for ten minutes. Pour into a dish and set aside to cool.
