Cheese Cake


  • 1 cupful of milk
  • 2 tablespoonfuls cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 cupfuls of cottage cheese
  • 1 teaspoonful of nutmeg
  • 2 yolks of eggs
  • 1 teaspoonful of vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup of sugar


Use level measurements.

Dissolve the starch in the milk and then bring to a boil. Cook for five minutes. Cool and then rub cottage cheese through a sieve. Add nutmeg, yolks, vanilla, and sugar.

Beat to cream and then fill into the oblong cheese-cake pan, which has been lined with plain pastry. Bake in a slow oven for thirty minutes.
