Canadian Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 grated onions
  • 1 green pepper
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped very fine
  • 6 tablespoons of salad oil
  • 3 tablespoons of vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon of mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of sugar

Instructions

Place onions, green pepper, and tomatoes in a saucepan. Cook slowly until soft, and then cool. Add salad oil, vinegar, mustard, pepper, salt, and sugar. Mix thoroughly and serve cold over fish.
