Buttered and Spiced Beets

Ingredients

  • beets
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of hot water
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon of mustard
  • tiny pinch of cloves

Instructions

Cook the beets until tender and then drain and cut into slices.

Now place the rest of the ingredients in a small saucepan. When boiling hot, pour over the sliced beets.
