Rachel Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 quart of breadcrumbs
  • 1 quart of apples, cut very fine
  • 1/2 a cupful of suet, chopped very fine
  • 1 cupful of English currants
  • rind and juice of 2 lemons
  • 4 eggs, well beaten

Instructions

Mix thoroughly.

Grease a pudding mould, and put the mixture in it. Steam three hours, and serve with rich wine sauce.
