Pickled Cauliflowers

Ingredients

  • 2 cauliflowers, cut up
  • 1 pint of small onions
  • 3 medium-sized red peppers
  • 2 quarts of vinegar
  • 4 tablespoonfuls of mustard

Instructions

Dissolve half a pint of salt in water enough to cover the vegetables, and let these stand over night.

In the morning drain them. Heat vinegar with mustard, until it boils. Add the vegetables, and boil for about fifteen minutes, or until a fork can be thrust through the cauliflower.
