Corn Muffins

Ingredients

  • 1 pint of flour
  • 1 pint of Indian meal
  • 1/3 of a cupful of sugar
  • 1 teaspoonful of soda
  • 2 teaspoonfuls of cream of tartar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pint of milk
  • 1 tablespoonful of melted butter

Instructions

Mix the dry ingredients together, and sift them.

Beat the eggs light, add the milk to them, and stir into the dry ingredients.

Bake twenty minutes in buttered muffin pans.

Two dozen muffins can be made with the quantities given.
