Sweet Venison Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 small stick of cinnamon
  • 1/2 pint of claret
  • finely grated bread-crumbs
  • powder of the best sugar

Instructions

Take the cinnamon, and boil it in the claret; then add as much finely grated bread-crumbs as will make a thick pap; and, after it has boiled thoroughly, sweeten it with the powder of the best sugar.
