Ramaquins. No. 1


  • 2 ounces of Cheshire cheese grated
  • 2 ounces of white bread grated
  • 2 ounces of butter
  • 1/2 pint of cream
  • white pepper
  • 2 yolks of eggs


Take the cheese, bread, butter, cream, and a little white pepper; boil all together; let it stand till cold; then take the yolks, beat the whole together, and put it into paper coffins. Twenty minutes will bake them.
