Imperial. No. 2

Ingredients

  • 4 or 5 quarts of boiling water
  • 2 ounces of cream of tartar
  • 2 lemons
  • 1/2 pound of sugar

Instructions

Take the boiling water poured to the cream of tartar, and the rinds of the lemons cut very thin, with the sugar. Well mix the whole together: and, when cold, add the juice of the lemons.
