Imperial. No. 2
- 4 or 5 quarts of boiling water
- 2 ounces of cream of tartar
- 2 lemons
- 1/2 pound of sugar
Take the boiling water poured to the cream of tartar, and the rinds of the lemons cut very thin, with the sugar. Well mix the whole together: and, when cold, add the juice of the lemons.
