- 2 ounces of isinglass
- 1 pint of white wine
- yolks of eight eggs, well beaten
- juice of 4 lemons, with the rind of one
Steep the isinglass two hours in a pint of boiling water; take the white wine, yolks, juice, rind. Sweeten it to your taste; set it over the fire, and keep it stirring till it boils.
