Another Meat Jelly for Sauces

Ingredients

  • 3 shanks, or 2 pounds, of mutton
  • 2 quarts of water
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 onion

Instructions

Put the shanks in the water; stew down to a pint and a half, with the carrot and onion.
