Matzoth Charlotte, No. 2

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs (yolks)
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 matzoth (soaked in water and squeezed out)
  • 1 grated apple
  • 1 lemon rind and juice
  • 1/4 cup of almonds
  • 1/4 cup of raisins

Instructions

Put the stiffly-beaten whites of eggs in last; before putting into oven. Bake in an even oven about one-half to three-quarters of an hour. To be eaten warm.
