Maple Sugar Icing

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of maple sugar
  • 1/2 cup of boiling water
  • beaten whites of 2 eggs

Instructions

Boil maple sugar with boiling water until it threads from the spoon. Pour it upon the beaten whites and beat until cold. Spread between layers and on top of cake. Do not make icings on cloudy or rainy days.
