Hot Wine (Glueh)

Ingredients

  • 1 quart claret
  • 1 pint water
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of whole cloves
  • 1 teaspoon of whole cinnamon
  • lemon rind cut thin and in small pieces

Instructions

Boil steadily for fifteen minutes and serve hot.
